PRODUCTION ET RÉALISATION DE FILMS D’ANIMATION
The GDS studio was born from a common passion of three
graphic designers drawn to illustration, drawing and painting.
Stimulated by watching numerous animated films discovered in Annecy.
They decide to meet in a backyard in Carouge (near Geneva)
to take their first steps in this field. After a few tries, encouragement
and help from established authors, they make their first films,
alternating television credits, illustrations and graphics.
Little by little, animated films became their main activity.
Everyone develops their projects in a completely free way and makes
their films according to their current aspirations.
Sometimes a trip temporarily interrupts the activity of one or the other,
sometimes a meeting leads to a co-production or collaboration
on a common project.
After 50 years of non-frenetic activity, perhaps the biggest surprise remains for them to still practice
this expression which some find so strange and laborious, when it seems rather jubilant to them ...
